Topsfield Fair Sponsors

July 3, 2013

This week’s Win It All Wednesday contest prompt is: Name one of our sponsors (hint:see below!). Click here to enter! One winner will be randomly selected to win a special Topsfield Fair Drink Tumbler. The Topsfield Fair would like to say thank you to everyone who is sponsoring us for the 2013 season! We are excited to be welcoming to our team: EBSCO Host, Mohegan Sun, Coca Cola, Hiltz Waste Disposal, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Renewal by Andersen, Ford, Verizon Fios, Owens Corning and Chevy. All of these sponsors are awesome to work with and we are fantastic contributors to the Topsfield Fair and Essex Agricultural Society.

EBSCO is a local company who have been sponsoring the Fair for several years! This year, EBSCO expanded their partnership with the Fair by helping us sponsor the “Read & Win” program. The goal of “Read and Win” is to give children an incentive to read this summer! The program is open to readers from Grades K to 6th from Essex County Libraries and a few Southern New Hampshire Communities. Every participant that reaches their library’s reading goal receives a prize package includes: 1 Admission Ticket (for readers 8 and over, children under 8 are admitted into the Fair free), 1 Hot Dog and Drink (soda, water, lemonade or milk) Voucher that the winner can redeem once they are at the Fair, 2 Ride Tickets, 1 special “Read and Win” Ribbon. Read & Win is an educationally-based program sponsored jointly by Topsfield Fair, Fiesta Shows, The International Association of Fairs and Expositions, The National Independent Concessionaires Association and EBSCO.

Mohegan Sun also sponsors a variety of things on the Fairgrounds. If you purchase Discounted Presale Tickets to the Fair, flip them over and you’ll notice, Mohegan Sun sponsors them! You’ll also notice that Mohegan Sun sponsors our Grandstand Stage which welcomes many of our major Entertainment acts.

Topsfield Massachusetts is an area of rolling hills and meandering streams and has some of the highest land in Essex County. Topsfield has a rural nature and contains a typical New England town common. The town is home to many acres of protected land and trails which includes Bradley Palmer State Park. It is an excellent choice for hiking and biking in the spring and summer and cross country skiing in the winter. Topsfield also has plenty of agricultural land and hosts the Topsfield Fair. The Topsfield Fair is America’s oldest agricultural fair established in 1818 and held every October during harvest time. The Fair is chock full of agricultural exhibits as well as homemade baked goods and farm animals. There is also a largest pumpkin contest-always the most popular exhibit. It also has plenty for the kids including great stuff to eat and also a midway loaded with amusement park rides and games and a parade. The Topsfield Fair is a fun time for everyone and well worth the price of admission. Plan to spend a day there next October-you will be glad you did.
